[Eg-oversight-board] 2016 conference budget

Hi all!
I wanted to disseminate some information on behalf of Tanya and the 2016
conference committee.  First of all, I want to take a moment to commend
Tanya for being exceedingly diligent and thorough.  She is doing a fabulous
job.  She and Tony Sebro and I had a conference call a few weeks ago and we
were made aware that the conference hotel that was desired had a hard date
in order to secure the space.  *I* was negligent in passing that
information and Tanya's preliminary budget along and I sincerely
apologize.  However, there is a "no fee" cancellation clause in the
contract if cancelled at least 180 days prior so we didn't feel like it was
too much risk to have Tony go ahead and secure the hotel.

Tanya has forwarded a preliminary budget to me and I have already given her
some feedback regarding the sponsorship opportunities (e.g. including A/V
and removing lanyards and possibly flashdrives).  But overall I think it's
a solid budget and I think the numbers are realistic given the location.
NC Cardinal has a large and very involved Evergreen consortium, with most
of both SCLENDS and PINES less than a 3-6 hour drive from Raleigh.

I'd be delighted to pass on any feedback you might have but I would like to
get an email vote on the budget as soon as possible.  So please send along
the feedback for revisions!
