[Eg-oversight-board] eg-oversight-board Digest, Vol 55, Issue 47

+1 on EOB issuing a statement to our community members re-affirming
our commitment to , and offer refunds if some participants are not
comfortable to attend, but agree with Tanya that we should be very
unambiguous that the EOB is issuing this statement so we don't create
problems for our host organization.

While I support this statement in principle, I don't think it's
*technically* valid given our current site selection criteria. +1 to
amending for future, although acknowledging additional challenges of
researching this and/or requiring affirmation as part of a site's
application:

* We are informing the conference venue that had House Bill 2 been in
> effect during the conference site selection period last year, the
> Evergreen Project would not have chosen Raleigh.

Finally, we should consider adding "gender identity and expression "
to the current code of conduct preamble (i.e. Evergreen event
organizers are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for
everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability,
physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.)

Thanks,
Sharon
