I say:

Agreed.  Despite its rocky start, I think the call overall was very
positive.  If there's anything I can do to help improve communication on
our end, just let me know.  Now that I know IRC is the best way to get
their attention, I will use it.

I can't help much in the way of accounting practices improvement, though.
