Hi Jason,
Thank you for your comments. One thing that the MOBIUS attorneys made very clear: the IRS tends to look askance at open source software projects and suggested emphasizing that our membership is largely comprised of non-profits. I did change this sentence in the narrative:
Members of the Evergreen Community contribute code and documentation, provide training to other libraries, conduct outreach efforts focusing on the larger library community, and organize an annual conference.

Here are some thoughts:
The part IV narrative implies that the only non-profit organizations are part of the community, just dropping the non-profit part would be more accurate, and possibly also mentioning developers (working with Evergreen doesn't *have* to be your job for you to be a part of the community, though it doesn't hurt). Also, I don't have strong feelings about adding it but would some mention of outreach and education with regards to the annual conference be useful here?
For part V, it would be a good idea to repeat the table headers to prevent any potential confusion about what they're looking at.
Thanks for all of the work on this, it looks like it's coming along.
Jason

As promised, here is the Form 1023 as it currently stands and some of the supporting documentation. Please let me know if you have any questions or see any issues. As I indicated yesterday, we need some updated financial information from the SFC before that part can be completed.
