[Evergreen-acq] Multiple providers with one EDI account

Hi Tiffany,
I use the "1 provider, 1 EDI account" set up as well. This is a little
different than your configuration-- but even with a 1 to 1 set up I have
encountered issues like Galen describes when multiple EDI accounts have
different account numbers but share the same username, password, path, and
incoming directory-- the EDI responses and invoices often were linked to
the incorrect EDI account. I found that using a Vendor Assigned Code can
differentiate between account in these types of situations. You may need
to work with the vendor to figure out how to make the Vendor Assigned Codes
work with their system, but some vendors are already using the codes to
handle multiple accounts.
Thanks,
Angela
