[Evergreen-acq] Linking to bib records

Good morning,

A staff member from one of our member libraries ran into an issue with a purchase order last week and I'm trying to understand some of the mechanisms behind what happened. She created the Purchase Order via the Load MARC Order Records option. She did not choose to activate the Purchase Order upon creation. When she went to activate the PO, she was prompted to upload the records again. She then discovered that several of the line items in the PO had not linked with the correct bib record. Upon inspecting the queue, it appears that for some of the items, the attempt to query the database failed. There were no problems I could find within the records themselves. She was able to manually link them, at which point she was able to activate the PO without uploading the records a second time.

Is there any reason why some of the records would have failed to query the database, but not all of them?
