[Evergreen-catalogers] issues with spine labels

I not quite sure about LOC Call numbers. I know the Tech services staff here
does a preview of the labels before they hit print to catch the mistakes,
also they make any adjustments such as adding a line, removing a line...

The settings for the pocket label are set in the "Print Spine Label" dialog.
I am attaching the information that my staff use to print them with the DYMO
Label Writer 450. It includes the dialog box.

Subject: [Evergreen-catalogers] issues with spine labels

Hi gang,

As I'm now trying to solidify a workflow for our technical services staff
who will be modifying/printing spine labels, I've encountered a couple of
quirks and am wondering if others have dealt with them (and we're still on
2.5.2).

Quirk 1: We use LOC, and as such, when we print spine labels the
topic/subclass letters and numbers, before the cutter, are always on two
different lines. Regardless of whether or not there was a space in-between
them (pretty much never), our previous ILS knew to split them up as such
when printing labels. Evergreen doesn't seem to know to do that by default,
and I can't seem to find a setting anywhere that will set this to be
automatic. Is this even possible? I can't imagine other Evergreen libraries
using LOC who haven't encountered and fixed this problem, so I'm clinging to
that for hope.

Quirk 2: While in the Local Admin > Library Settings Editor area I can set
defaults for spine label font, size, etc.; however, there aren't options to
enable or save pocket label settings. This is less of a dealbreaker than the
above quirk, but also slightly maddening. Just wondering if any future
builds address this.

Any and all help, as always, is very much appreciated.

Thanks!
