[Evergreen-catalogers] 006 field and multiple format icons for sets

Hi,

I know it's possible to have two format icons for Blu-ray and DVD sets, and
for DVD and CD sets. I think the latter is from the 007 fields although I
don't remember the bib record where I did this so I'm not positive. Is it
possible to have a book icon and a CD icon for book plus CD sets? How does
Evergreen use the 006 field which contains the fixed field codes for the
additional format?

Recently I've been correcting records for book+CD sets we imported from
OCLC that have 006 fields but that field mistakenly had the 006 coded with
'q' for "form of item". Evergreen picked out that 'q' and our format icon
was e-book, even though the 008 field had no code in the "form" box.
Deleting the 'q' fixed the format. I think this is a bug, the icon should
come from the records 008 field.

But, it made me think that if Evergreen can look at the 006 field, why
can't the system use that for the additional format icon. Has anyone tried
this?
