Hi Marguerite,
Just to second what Jennifer said: SCLENDS had the same issue on 3.1.6. We/Equinox added the permissions below to the appropriate staff profile groups, and circulators are confirming that they’re able to use alerts in the expected way.
Best,
Meg

Hi Marguerite,
We ran into the same problem here when we upgraded to 3.1.6. For us, it was a permission issue. The NC Cardinal support staff provided us with this information that worked when we updated permissions as needed for all staff.
CREATE_COPY_ALERT
VIEW_COPY_ALERT
UPDATE_COPY_ALERT
DELETE_COPY_ALERT
I hope that helps!
Best,
Jennifer

When a copy alert is entered on an item for an item, we haven't found a way to edit that alert or delete it if necessary.
We use copy alerts during checkin and checkout to alert the circ staff that they should verify the number of discs in an audio book or a DVD and we sometimes need to change the content of the message.
Is there a way to do this? So far we've just seen the alerts pile up with no way to delete or alter existing alerts.
Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can give us.
Marguerite Grant
