Hi Evergreen Catalogers,
Inquiring cataloger wants to know. Has anyone started using the RDA 34x
fields in format limiters?
I recently attended a conference where the theme was catalogers rule! I'd
like to rule a little more here so before we reinvent the wheel, has anyone
created a format filter for 4k Ultra HD video recordings? Right now we
cannot distinguish these from Blu-ray as they have the same record Type and
007 coding. All the RDA records have the 347 field with $b 4k Ultra HD. Do
we have to add this to our Blu-ray filter?
We also have the same questions for MP3 CD audiobooks.
Thanks,
Janet
