[Evergreen-catalogers] auto-generate barcodes

Hi everyone,

The "Defaults" tab in the holdings editor has settings for "Auto-generate
Barcodes" and "Use check digit."  I have selected both settings, but I have
not had any luck in auto-generating barcodes when adding multiple items to
a bib record.

I believe this worked fine in the xul client, though I didn't have much
occasion to use this option.

Does anyone know if this is working in the web client?  What am I missing?
