[Evergreen-catalogers] Vandelay stripping out ends of fields, odd diacritics

Hello Everyone,

I've been filling in this week and loading MARC files, records downloaded
from Connexion browser. I have two problems. One is odd diacritics. The
other is Vandelay stripping out the end of fields in the records, sometimes
the period or last character, but other times whole words or phrases. The
person who usually loads records is on vacation but she is quite good at
noticing errors in records, particularly the files that come from member
libraries using Connexion browser.

When I open the file in MARCedit the records look fine. Here's an example
of a record with diacritics.

Here's the same record after I loaded it today.  I am using Release 3.5,
Chrome browser. The record looks the same in the queue and then in the
database. I am not using the angular version of Vandelay.

Any ideas why this is happening?
