There is a known issue with ngBootstrap about keeping the autosuggest options in view when using the keyboard to arrow up and down the list. I don't think we have that reflected in Launchpad, but I'm tracking it over in the ngBootstrap GitHub issue queue.

And I wanted to note that you don't need caps lock for any keyboard shortcuts! We traditionally display letters in shortcut hints in caps simply because that's how letters are printed on keyboards, but you should only press the keys that are listed in the hint.

We have been getting feedback from our catalogers that they prefer to use the keyboard only while interacting with MARC records, and are having difficulty doing so in the enhanced MARC editor.

Specifically, you cannot move up and down the record easily:
If you have your cursor in the MARC tag or indicator spots, and use the up or down arrows, your cursor moves within the selected text box. So, I’m just curious about various catalogers’ experiences with this before I add this to the bug – if the consensus is that this is the expected behavior, we will just include this in our trainings as something that people may need some time to get used to.
The bug mentions “different keyboard behavior” but doesn’t list this as an example of one of the things that will be different.
