Tricia,
When I was with Evergreen Indiana, we moved to using Aspen Discovery for
our OPAC experience. I'm not sure how familiar you are with Aspen, so
please pardon me if I'm just saying things you already know. Our library
consortium did choose to have a support provider hosted implementation of
Aspen, but it is open source and could be run locally if you also manage
your own Evergreen ILS environment. One of the delightful benefits of
moving to Aspen was no longer having to deal with the record churn from
services like hoopla and Overdrive. Those collections are either directly
connected or sideloaded. The sideloaded collections (this was things like
Kanopy, Bibliolabs, Freading, etc.) deals with Delta files similar to what
Overdrive used to use when we were importing records into the Evergreen
catalog. Now, those records never touch the Evergreen catalog and are dealt
with in a much more automatic manner in Aspen.
If, however, a discovery product isn't feasible for your library, there is
some new functionality coming into Evergreen with the new version 3.14.0
that allows for some great "report to record buckets" integration. I'd
recommend you take a look at this functionality on the bugsquash server
provided by MOBIUS at
https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=community_servers. Documentation
on this/these new feature(s) is at
https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/docs/latest/cataloging/record_buckets.html.
