Hi Evergreeners,

Starting next Monday, January 22nd, we'll start up the collaborative code
review sessions again, with an additional invitation to bring your UX
questions as well! Please join us! It will be 2pm Eastern/11am Pacific at
https://princeton.zoom.us/my/sandbergja . Details can also be found on the
community calendar (https://evergreen-ils.org/communicate/calendar/).

If you haven't yet joined, we meet for an hour each week to review pull
requests that have been proposed for inclusion in Evergreen. We ask
questions, try patches out, read code, run automated tests, share
knowledge, build documentation, and generally help to provide developers
with a timely feedback loop on their work. All skill levels are very
welcome to join -- the more perspectives we have, the more knowledge we can
share and the more bugs we can catch. In the past, it's been connected to
specific release cycles -- this time, there's no such connection, it's more
informal.

If you have a specific pull request that you'd like some feedback on,
please feel free to bring it to the meeting! And no need to commit to
weekly meetings, you can feel free to drop in to as many/as few sessions as
you'd like. This is not to take the place of any of the other great ways
that developers can get feedback on their work (e.g. bug squashing week,
the new developers working group, typical review process), just a fun
supplement.

Hope to see you there,

  -Jane, Stephanie, and Terran
