[Evergreen-general] No Cataloging Working Group meeting this month (let's give that hour to Feedback Fest!!)

*Attention: * There will *not* be a Cataloging Working Group meeting this
month.

Instead, we encourage everyone to consider participating in *Feedback Fest*
this week.  Please see details below from Terran.  She is always graciously
available to answer questions or you can always send questions to the
cataloging listserv. Thanks to everyone who makes Feedback Fest possible!
As a reminder, this is our opportunity to see and test new development
before it is released.

There are a few specific Cataloging related features that are being
considered (and more may be added if we test these early this week)
Currently, the list includes:

   - Angular Holdings View: Item Counts Incorrect (bug #1933275)

   already today (still available to review to see how it works)*
   - Web Client: z39.50 "Record with TCN 249 marked for overlay." uses
   record ID, not TCN (bug #1731042

   - Angular Holdings View: Active Date and Create Date should be separate
   columns (bug #1916600 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1916600>
   )

   - Holdings and Item Attributes Editors (VolCopy) Angular Port (bucket #

Also, there are many cataloging launchpad bugs

could use our attention -- even if they are not on the Feedback Fest list.

Hi everyone!

This week (August 9-13) is Evergreen Feedback Fest, focused on getting new
features and upgraded interfaces fully tested and ready to roll into
Evergreen 3.8.

There are 5 test servers (thanks to Galen & Jason from Equinox and Tiffany
from PINES!) that are loaded up and ready to test. All of them have the
Concerto test data set installed. Details for all 5 servers and the list of
changes each one of them has installed are at:

As you test, be sure to leave your feedback on the related Launchpad
ticket. I will update this spreadsheet throughout each day with the testing
progress. There are some handy links at the top to the Concerto logins you
can use, general bug squashing/feedback fest instructions and guidelines,
etc. And of course, you are welcome to take a look at other bug reports and
patches that are in Launchpad as well!
