[Evergreen-general] Are you using Hold Groups?

Hi Diane,
Staff can see a patron's hold group membership from their Patron account in
the staff interface (under Other --> Hold Groups). Staff can remove a
patron from a Hold Group via their Patron account, and add them to a Hold
Group via Patron Search and/or the Circulation --> Hold Groups interface.
Patrons can see their membership in all Hold Groups marked patron-visible
from OPAC --> My Account:
https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/eg/docs/latest/circulation/basic_holds.html#_from_the_my_account_interface_in_the_opac
Patrons can remove themselves from patron-visible Hold Groups via the OPAC,
but they cannot add themselves to Hold Groups - they need to ask staff to
do that.
Hope this helps,
Andrea
