[Evergreen-general] Holds on individual serials?

If I understand it correctly, there's no mechanism to put a hold on a specific volume of a serial with the holds interface. Is this something you encounter or have a workaround for? Do you use monographic parts? Don't allow holds on serials? Have staff add copy level holds?
