[Evergreen-general] Documentation for item status

Hi Everyone,

This thread was discussed at the Documentation Interest Group today.  I
submitted an LP bug ticket on this and assigned this to myself to work on
soon:  https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/2022100

If you can move the discussion and any important things that were already
brought up as comments in the bug, it'd be much easier for the team to
track.

If you happen to have any local documentation that you wrote up on this
that you want to send to me, you can absolutely do that off list.  It'd be
really appreciated.
