[Evergreen-general] Book lockers?

Hi Terran,

We have a library that uses Bibliotheca lockers.

We created a "branch" OU that appears as a pickup up library,
has circulation policies (we don't really use inherited circ rules, so
ymmv), open hours, etc. It is not otherwise OPAC visible. Staff have
accounts with working locations and workstations for the locker branch in
order to process incoming materials. Otherwise, transactions are processed
via SIP so there is not a lot of Evergreen configuration. Most of the work
is done in a Bibliotheca interface, which I don't have any clue about. The
lockers are configured to check the item out to the patron as soon as the
locker is unlocked.

We have experienced all sorts of weird issues, which generally seem to be
related to patrons who have items in multiple lockers, multiple items in
one locker, and patrons who cancel holds once they have been put into the
locker (this is an Evergreen setting, and behavior we generally allow, so
also, ymmv. Personally, I don't recommend it!) That said, it's been a while
since issues were reported, so maybe things have been resolved on
Bibliotheca's end.

I can put you in touch with someone from that library, if that would be
helpful.

Lindsay
