[Evergreen-general] Book lockers?

Have any of you implemented book lockers with Evergreen? Several of our
libraries are planning to order them, but we don't have any that have
actually implemented them so I'm curious about the technical process.

It looks like most of the vendors require a separate pickup location, which
makes sense (although it would be nice if we could designate org units only
as pickup locations but otherwise be opac-invisible), but I'm not sure how
the actual checkout process works. Are things automatically checked out to
the patrons as soon as the locker is opened? Or is there another staff
action that needs to be taken?

If you wouldn't mind indicating the vendor that you have used successfully,
that would also be most helpful.
