[Evergreen-governance-l] Meeting today?

I'm on the road back from a long weekend at the cottage, so I won't be
able to make today's call.
Quick updates on the proposal to apply to the Free Software
Conservancy for membership:
* Bradley Kuhn, president of the Conservancy, responded with a list
of the information required for an application
* The Conservancy funding model is that projects (optionally) direct
a percentage of their funds to the Conservancy. Member projects
currently donate between 0 and 10% of their funds. Donating funds is
not a requirement for membership; there are currently Conservancy
member projects that donate nothing to the Conservancy.
* We still need to pull together a complete list of the answers to
the Conservancy application questionnaire; some of the points to be
decided include which person or person(s) shall be responsible for
directing the use of the Evergreen Software Foundation's funds, which
suggests that we need to determine an agreed-upon governance model
somewhat independently of the actual legal entity. I provided some
examples of other Conservancy member project models at
http://evergreen-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=governance:structure and
posted the list of questions there, along with my initial responses to
some of the questions (note that some of the questions point out areas
of the website where content either needs to be updated or created
outright!)
Thanks, and sorry for not being able to make it today,
Dan
