On this:
Section 3.8 (Meetings and Notices).
Meeting notices may be provided via e-mail if the Member has provided the
Oversight Board Secretary with an e-mail address specifically for this
purpose.
This is a small point, but this seems to place the burden on the oversight
board secretary. I think that in this day and age, ALL meeting notices
should be provided by email and if you don't provide that email address for
such purpose, then, well, too bad for you. Do we really want the secretary
to snail mail all of those people too lazy to provide an email address? Am
I reading too much into this line?
And on this:
Section 3.8 (Meetings and Notices).
Regular meetings of the Oversight Board shall be held at such times, places
and dates as fixed by the board.
Shouldn't online meetings of the Oversight Board be allowed? I would think
that the majority of the Board meetings would be done online.
Maybe this line isn't excluding online meetings, but when I read the word
"places," it gave me pause.
Oh, and good job, Sylvia, Dan, and Galen. Overall, you covered a huge
amount of bylaws territory very well.
More comments to come .
