I think we should do an announcement along with the SFC, and I also think we should make this announcement prior to ALA.  Allowing time to discuss wording but also making sure that we don't do the announcement on a Friday (which is apparently the preferred day for announcing *bad* news), shall we aim for the 20th (i.e., next Monday?).
