Hi Blake,
Thanks for the tip, our consortium group uses version 3.6.2 . I’ll make note of it for sure.
Chris

Chris,

There is also a way to "Report of "Last" Deleted copy"

Found in the release notes for Evergreen 3.0:

https://evergreen-ils.org/documentation/release/RELEASE_NOTES_3_0.html

Section:

16.10.2. New Report Source Table Allowing Report of "Last" Deleted copy

Hi Beth - Thank you so much. I will try out this method and see what happens; it’s a good starting place. I was confused as to which core source to start, but had Bibliographic Records in mind.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I think I would start with the Bibliographic Records source and link to the Call Numbers source and, from there, to the Owning Library to get the org units.

In addition to the Org Unit and (bibliographic record?) date filters I would include these filters:

Source
Field
Value
Bibliographic Records
Is deleted?
FALSE
Call Numbers
ID
is Null

I suspect you will want to use a Date transform for the date field.

I don't actually have a report template like this, but have attached screenshots of how I would start off.

I only looked at this quickly, so I am not certain this will get you the data you are looking for. It may be a starting place, though.

Beth

Hello Evergreen Reports Group,

My library’s cataloguer asked for a report that generates a list or count of all our library’s bibliographic records with no holdings (empty records). We are part of an Evergreen consortium group called (LiNC) Libraries in Niagara Cooperative<https://niagaracollege.niagaraevergreen.ca/eg/opac/home>.

I only want to filter by organizational unit and dates for Niagara College Libraries. I can usually filter things well, but I’m unsure which Core Source to start with “bibliographic records” or ‘Item” or “Call Number/Volume” to get the right data to populate my fields correctly.

Does anyone have advice on how I should approach this? Or perhaps you have a report template to share with me?

I’m an intermediate-level Evergreen user and I want to expand/continue learning my reporting tool experience and knowledge by building template reports.
Thank you for your help!
Chris
