[Evergreen-web-team] Posting web team meeting minutes on new site

Jim can correct me if I am wrong but my recollection is that the drupal calendar creates a content-type called event and when you create an event it does show up on the calendar.

It may not be built in but it is easy to extend the event page so that you can attached documents to it like a word doc of the minutes. also the event page has a description body in which one can place a description of upcoming meetings, i.e. the agenda, and then the minutes after the meeting is over and the link will remain on the calendar. Further, one can create a list (a view) of all the events in the past, the future or from all time and even filter them by the tag 'web team'.

Just a few of the possibilities.

Check out www.eifl.org for an example of how elaborate the calendar module implementation can get :) I still have PTSD from this one.

Steve

Also and option. I almost like it better. Are Events automatically tied into the drupal calendar? That could be useful. Having a blog entry could be useful for finding information later and in terms of content management, it more or less manages itself. Perhaps we need to do both, and maybe not even have a separate page that links to all the minutes, just have them be in the blog roll?AlekseyOn Oct 5, 2012, at 10:07 , Lori Bowen Ayre wrote:> Or, what about having a Web Team blog?
