[Evergreen-web-team] Any interest in adding my "Intro to IRC" slides to the IRC help section?

Hi Yamil,

I have no strong objections to adding that link to the page, but, first,
I would like to take a step back to look at how the page can be most
effective for new IRC users as well as more experienced ones.

As of now, we have five links in our IRC help section. I worry that if
we keep adding links whenever we have a new way to present how-to IRC
information, in our effort to be overly helpful, we may be overwhelming
somebody with too many links to choose from.

For simplicity, I think it would be great to have one place for a new
IRC user to go. This one place would have the basic commands a person
needs to know to get started. It could be the quick start guide (this
was the original intent of the guide) or it could be something closer to
what you included in your presentation. Either way, I think I would
prefer that the two were consolidated in one simple guide for a new user
that is easy to access and understand. Maybe we could incorporate the
Chatzilla how-to there as well since this information seems more
applicable for a new user.

Then we have things like the Meetbot guide and the guide to using
pinesol_green that is for people who already feel comfortable using IRC
or who want to venture beyond the basics. Maybe they could be labeled as
more advanced guides and also be offered at the end of the basic how-to
guide for those who want to learn more.

Having said all that, I don't have the tuits to work on the IRC page,
and if your presentation is something you think would be of value, then
go ahead and add it. Those were just my initial thoughts.
