Not being a librarian, I don't have a comprehensive understanding of MARC, but when I signed onto PAUSE, it was to work 
on stuff like MARC::Record (and Net::Z3950).  So if there is anything for an additional perl hacker to contribute to the 
module, by way of code, documentation or testing, just let me know.
