Hi Dan,
Yeah, I'm able to start up the router. Here's everything I did on a reboot:
evergreen at eg-server:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.2 restartPassword:
* Restarting PostgreSQL 8.2 database server [ OK ]
evergreen at eg-server:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart * Forcing reload of web server (apache2)... [ OK ]
evergreen at eg-server:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/ejabberd force-reloadRestarting jabber server: ejabberd.
evergreen at eg-server:~$ sudo /usr/bin/memcached -u nobody -p 10101 -l 127.0.0.1 -d
evergreen at eg-server:~$ sudo -u opensrf /openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh -d /tmp/ -p /openils/conf/bootstrap.conf -c /openils/conf/opensrf_core.xml -a start_all

That's everything. Looks like there's a problem before I even fire up the client.

Hi Chris,
With a domain name that long, I'm putting my money on a typo in one of the 20 or so places you had to put it :) For an example of an almost impossible to see typo, see the bottom of your last email ;)
Are you able to successfully start just the router? (using e.g. sudo -u opensrf /openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh -d /tmp/ -p /openils/conf/bootstrap.conf -c /openils/conf/opensrf_core.xml -a start_router) Make sure to do a stop_all first, and give it time to actually stop.
If your router doesn't start correctly, double (and triple) check all your router settings in opensrf_core.xml, ejabberd.cfg, and bootstrap.conf.
