I'm going to look through your logs in a bit. I just checked my
e-mail history (<3 gMail ;)), and this issue in the past has been
attributed to a default configuration in ejabberd. A configuration
setting for max_simultaneous_connections (or similar) defaults to like
10, but OpenSRF requires this to be a lot (probably a minimum of 100,
with an additional 60 per node if you're running an Evergreen
cluster).
If you can check your config for ejabberd (or whatever jabber server
you're using) just to confirm what this setting is, we might get to
this issue...
I'll look through your config and logs too anyway, just to see if
anything else jumps out to me ;)
