The good news:
You're right, I had forgotten to redo it with my current set-up.
The bad news:
Fixing that didn't make the symptoms go away ;-)

Nevertheless, it was a necessary step, so thanks for the reminder!

Since you said you had had the problem, I searched the archives more
carefully, and found this:

Fixing that got rid of the segmentation fault in opensrl-c.

Now everything seems to start up. When I try to run "srfsh", though,
I get
> Unable to bootstrap client for requests

of course, I haven't run autogen yet, so I'll try that next.
