Folks,

c-store and storage are present. Looking at srfsh.log shows the following:

srfsh 2007-10-02 06:49:22 [INFO:5253:osrf_system.c:267:] Bootstrapping
system with domain 127.0.0.1, port 5222, and unixpath (none)
srfsh 2007-10-02 06:49:22 [WARN:5253:transport_session.c:386:] Received
<stream:error> message from Jabber server
srfsh 2007-10-02 06:49:22 [DEBG:5253:socket_bundle.c:367:] removing socket 3
srfsh 2007-10-02 06:49:22 [ERR :5253:srfsh.c:21:] Unable to bootstrap client
for requests

ejabberd's relevant log entry:
=INFO REPORT==== 2007-10-02 06:49:22 ===
I(<0.216.0>:ejabberd_listener:90): (#Port<0.46766>) Accepted connection
{{127,0,0,1},50367} -> {{127,0,0,1},5222}

Not sure what stream:error means. Maybe username/password issues?
