[OPEN-ILS-DEV] testing issues after installation

A little followup on this, just in case anyone's interested.

1. Even though I removed postgres 7 and set the port correctly in
postgresql.conf in 8.1, the postgres server still had the wrong port. I
ended up having to remove all 8.1 related debs and reinstalling. No idea
what the deal with this was.

2. The perl fqdn recipe and Dan's settings-tester.pl were both reporting the
fqdn of Robert's machine as hostname.local. I hit my head about twenty
times trying to figure out where the .local was being picked up --
/etc/hosts was correct as were all the other usual suspects. It turns out
that *somehow*, this machine was picking up mDNS/Avahi/Bonjour names as
fqdn, so I took out the mDNS entries in nsswitch.conf, which fixed things.

And this might be a personal record for me, but this is the first time I've
been involved with the installation of an Evergreen instance where ejabberd
was *perfectly* well behaved. No problems with it whatsoever. :)

Thanks to Robert for doing most of the heavy lifting and providing a great
learning experience for me.
