[OPEN-ILS-DEV] unable to check out items

Hello Jason, sorry for not replying earlier:

Dan Scott tells me this might be a problem in 1.2.1.0.  I'm planning on
upgrading to latest, then running it again -- I'll let folk know if it's
still busted.
