I'm of the opinion that OpenSRF 1.0.1rc1 should become 1.0.1-gold.
Some of the changes (thanks, Scott, and welcome back!) still need some
shaking out, and delaying the installation-related fixes for OpenSRF
any longer seems counter productive to me.

As for EG 1.4.0.0rc2, I'm ready to cut (or assist in the cutting of)
it any time (well, after tonight).  Let's get it out there ASAP.
