Hi I have installed Ubuntu 'desktop' on a Windows PC. I have not
partitioned the disk, rather I have chosen an option to install 'inside'
windows.
The operating system seems to work really well, I followed the steps
outlined in the Wiki.

Apache, Postgres seem to be working fine.

When I type in the command /openils/bin/srfsh , I get the prompt, but It
does not understand the login command.

srfsh# login user pass
???: login user pass

I think there is a problem with Jabber though.

when I type 'ejabberd' at the prompt, I get a crash report, which is written
to: Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump

I can't make sense of it, but it could have to do with something called ERL

it starts:

=erl_crash_dump:0.1
Wed Oct 15 15:32:56 2008
Slogan: Kernel pid terminated (application_controller)
({application_start_failure,kernel,{shutdown,{kernel,start,[normal,[]]}}})
System version: Erlang (BEAM) emulator version 5.5.5 [source]
[async-threads:0] [kernel-poll:false]
Compiled: Sun Dec 9 21:49:37 2007
Atoms: 3618
=memory
total: 5170251

Does any of this make sense to people?

Thanks,

David.
