[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Buildbot source availability

Buildbot 1.000 is now available, in tarball and git repo format. Links
to both are at http://testing.esilibrary.com/ at bottom-right.

Also available there are a design/overview document and pretty-printed
versions of the POD docs from the buildbot modules.

In the interest of getting things out there, this release does not
include any of the Javascripty web bits, as they are brittle with
respect to URLs/paths, and Dan doesn't like their Web2.5-ness anyhow :)

There also is not a comprehensive, HOWTO-style "get a buildbot system up
and running" document. I will produce one of these in the next day or
two. The only bit of this that's missing from existing docs is a
thorough explanation of the config file and its command-line alternatives.

(Short version: use '-b' to specify build_dir on the command line and
'-t' for timeout; command line overrides config file overrides defaults.)

Finally, please note this caveat, reprinted verbatim from the README file:

----
At the present time (2009-11-30) there is a suspected bug in
SVN::Client which will eventually -- on the order of 2 days, with
repository checks happening every 5 minutes -- cause the buildbot to
cease doing any useful work, though it will keep running.

This is not a showstopper, as the bot is not tightly coupled with its
web front-end, so halting one does not halt the other. You will,
however, be out of file descriptors and have no more builds done until
the bot is halted and restarted. A bug has been filed with the
upstream author, and a fix will be made ASAP.
----

Thanks for the feedback over the past week. Let me know if you run into
any issues or have any questions.
