Ah, there needs to be a symbolic link /openils/var/web/xul/server
pointing to /openils/var/web/xul/current/server (where "current" is
whatever your staff_client build ID is, or "current" if you've symlinked
that to your current production staff_client build, as we tend to do).

I suspect the reports interface won't work without this link, either.

Good point. I'm not saying there won't be menu items in the staff client
at some point, it's just not in the plans for the 1.6 release. I suspect
Laura has some thoughts about the usability (or lack thereof) of having
to invoke editing functions from two different places in the client...
