This was troubleshooted some in IRC. The database installation failed with createlang giving an error like this: createlang: language installation failed: ERROR: could not load library "/usr/local/stow/pgsql/lib/plperl.so": /usr/local/stow/pgsql/lib/plperl.so: undefined symbol: boot_DynaLoader -- Jason
