[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Does upgrading the database ever touch call number labels?

I am cleaning up some of our call number that I believe were not imported correctly or were never correct to begin with when NRCan moved from III to Evergreen. Since I've started these updates, some of our librarians are finding more shelving locations with incorrect call numbers. They think the problem occurred with our newest Evergreen update because they have never noticed the issue before. We are currently on Evergreen 2.0.8, OpenSRF 2.0.1, PostgreSQL 9.0.4, Ubuntu 10.04.
I am wondering if any of the db upgrade scripts like 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 or any other script that touches that database during an upgrade may have touched the call numbers? Specifically, it looks like these call numbers are being generated from the 055 field. I doubt it was an upgrade that caused this problem, but I figured I would ask here just in case I am overlooking some sort of database upgrade bug.
