You can continue to use PostgreSQL 8.4 with the 2.0 series; it looks
like this commit
(http://git.evergreen-ils.org/?p=Evergreen.git;a=commitdiff;h=f87437cb1e209eba04c4719adbdf2ddc21b36f04)
got backported into rel_2_0 when it shouldn't have been. I've pushed a
fix for that into the rel_2_0 repo, so if you update and use the latest
version of Makefile.install from rel_2_0 you should be good to go.
