Michael,

docgen.xsl is distributed with OpenSRF at the path src/extras/docgen.xsl.

I believe all you have to do is copy it to /openils/var/web/opac/extras 
on a typical Evergreen system.  The Apache configuration you'll have 
already set up for Evergreen takes care of the rest.

Indeed, this should be documented better than it is.  There's a very old 
blog post that describes what the thing does, but not how to set it up.

David, would you be amenable to contributing that documentation to DIG? 
  I'm sure knowing about docgen.xsl would help other potential 
developers find API documentation more easily.
