Hey all:

Yesterday's hackfest was a lot of fun!

Huge thanks to the EG2013 local organizing team for putting together a
great space for the hackfest. Lots of power + lots of wifi == a good
environment for learning and doing!

I also want to extend special thanks to Mark Jordan for ensuring that
everything went as smoothly as possible and for guiding us to all of the
resources that we really needed to get things done (wifi, coffee, power,
and food!)

I hope that everyone who came out keeps on hacking and sending in
patches, branches, bugs, and more. One thing that would be great for
future conferences would be honest feedback on what you think went well,
and what you think we could benefit from when organizing future
hackfests.

For example, it might have been useful to have virtual images or hosted
images available for those who arrive without already having access to a
test instance of Evergreen... or perhaps we could have explicitly told
would-be attendees well in advance that they're expected to have a
working dev instance of Evergreen available when they arrive at the
hackfest (possibly pointing at a virtual image).

As a reminder, the core hackfest coordination document that we used is
at http://goo.gl/CQMvu if you want to relive the glory that was
yesterday, or record the blazing insights that you might have had at
3:00AM while you were still riding the remnants of your hackfest high.

Happy hacking,
Dan
