Hi,

The OpenSRF 2.4 alpha is available for download from

Please test thoroughly.  This release includes support for WebSockets;
preliminary instructions for installing the WS gateway can be found in
README.websockets.

My focus for the beta will be improving the installation process and
squashing any bugs that are found.

Changes that represent incompatibilities with previous versions of
OpenSRF include:

* removal of osrf_ctl.sh (in favor of osrf_control)
* use of native browse JSON routines by the JS client library (LP#1316245)
* removal of support for Ubuntu Lucid
* removal of AUTOLOAD from OpenSRF::Application (LP#1179660)
