[OPEN-ILS-DOCUMENTATION] Which Git branche/tag are used for creating the latest 2.5.x version of docs

Hi Yamil,

I've always checked out a branch without the sub release and that should be the branch to check out in order for changes to be committed to the 2.5 docs. E.g rel_2_5.

I thought the "origin/tags/" branches was used for tagging release points and not for updating code or docs.

The documentation processing has always been set up to use the repositories without the sub release numbers:

rel_2_5 for the 2.5 docs
rel_2_4 for the 2.4 docs
rel_2_3 for the 2.3 docs
etc...
and master is used to process the "dev" docs found here:
http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/dev/


When adding new feature docs I usually start with master and cherry-pick the changes to other versions as required.

Hello,

Heads up, this is a very technical question about details of how
documentation is processed behind the scenes.

I have access to make official documentation changes directly using
Git. I wanted to make a one word edit of the 2.5.x official
documentation, but there are currently several sub release branches
and tags for 2.5.x. Which one should I pick to make this correction so
that tomorrow the official docs are rebuilt with my change?

For example the options include...

origin/tags/rel_2_5_0
origin/tags/rel_2_5_1
origin/tags/rel_2_5_2
origin/tags/rel_2_5_3



For the record, I am curious for older version of EG too just so I
know in the future.

BTW, the 2.5.x branch is slightly different than most because the
latest version is 2.5.3b, and the "b" labeling is a special situation
for just this version.
