Apologies for the delayed response...

Evergreen uses the SIP server from the OpenNCIP project
(http://openncip.org/). You can download the sources from sourceforge.net:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at openncip.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/openncip
login

(just type Enter at the password prompt)

cvs -z3
- -d:pserver:anonymous at openncip.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/openncip co
- -P SIPServer

1. Add accounts and update the institution names in
/openils/conf/oils_sip.xml (default location). Note that SIP accounts
require a corresponding user account in the ILS.

2. Update the SIP_DIR setting in /openils/bin/oils_ctl.sh to point to
the CVS checkout.

3. Then start the server like so:

/openils/bin/oils_ctl.sh -d /tmp -s /openils/conf/oils_sip.xml -a start_sip

If anyone has any success/failure with these basic instructions, let me
know.
