Just a quick announcement:  as of about 8:00pm EST, we've started
tagging the development branch of the CVS repository.  The first
official post-alpha development snapshot (1.1.0) is up at the usual
spot* and ready for download.

There's one known issue -- it installs no permissions other than the
EVERYTHING super-perm -- but it's perfectly suitable for
sharp-stick-poking, and you're all invited to do just that!
