Hi,
1) I am running the evergreen v100rc2 client.
2) I am running the client and the server on the same physical machine
as the server (server is running out of vmware)
3) I am using the Gentoo image
Thanks for the help,
John

Hi guys:
Just to be clear about the variables in our scenarios for
troubleshooting purposes:
1) What version of the client are you using?
2) Where are you running the client - on the same physical machine as
the server, or on an entirely separate physical machine?
3) Are you using the VMWare image for your server? I've been assuming
so, but that might not be a good assumption to make.
In my case, I copied the client from the VMWare image and am running
it under my host operating system to connect to the server on the
VMWare image. So it's the same physical machine. And Z39 copy
cataloging from the default LC Z39.50 server works.
I haven't tried running the client for Windows (v100rc2) that can be
downloaded from http://open-ils.org/cvs.html - I don't know if there's
some incompatibility between the v100rc2 client and the CVS HEAD
server.
