[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Heads up on installing Net::Z3950::ZOOM

For the last few days, Index Data has been moving to a new office[1].
This has affected the ability to install the Net::Z3950::ZOOM Perl
module from CPAN through the normal routes (including the Evergreen
Makefile.install prerequisite installer) because the module includes
tests that try to connect to servers that are unavailable while the
move is underway. As a result, the tests fail and the module is not
installed.

If this happens to you, one way to work around the problem is to
install the module manually. In my case, that's as simple as:

# cd /root/.cpan/build/Net-Z3950-ZOOM-1.24/
# make install

Alternately, you can force the CPAN installer to install the package
despite the failing tests:

# cpan
cpan> force install Net::Z3950::ZOOM

Hopefully this helps if you happen to be installing Evergreen over the
long weekend...
