[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Two questions related to a consortium running Evergreen

Good day,

We are in the process of setting up a consortium here in Maine and the following questions were posed by a member library. I would be most appreciative of any answers from those further along in the process.

1.  Can you set a cards expiration date or does it automatically renew to a preset date? 

2.  After patron types are set up can individual libraries customize those types differently. (can two libraries use the same patron type with different conditions/parameters mapped to that specific library)
